The “Ibero-America Santander Research” Grant Programme is a new project meant to foster mobility and exchange among young lecturers, researchers and doctoral students with universities and research centres in Ibero-America, a necessary condition in progressing towards the construction of an Ibero-American Area of Socially Responsible Knowledge.

The aim of these grants is to bring the participants’ previous knowledge up to date, have them learn new methods and techniques, establish or consolidate academic relations with Ibero-American research teams and institutions and gather the additional and specific information necessary for the research studies they are carrying out. They are also addressed to completing the training and scientific specialization of research staff in training and doctoral students.
